About the Artist

Carissa Gonzalez is a self taught henna artist. She began henna practicing henna in 2013. She was born and raised in Santa Clarita, CA. 

She graduated from Cal State Monterey Bay in 2016 with a Bachelors in Mathematics and with a minor in Visual and Public Arts. She now studies at USC working towards a MA in Education.

One of Carissa's true passions is travel. She spends her summers backpacking and traveling between events. To see where she's been watch the slideshow below.
